Ganryu island, a flat island about 103,000 m2 in the Kanmon Strait. It is famous for the duel between two great swordsmen Miyamoto Musashi and Sasaki Kojiroō. It was named Ganryu from the sword school Kojiro founded, but the proper name is Funajima.

There is a lot of things to see in this island; Statues of Miyamoto Musashi and Sasaki Kojiro, floating pier, artificial beach, and walking paths are well organized. Easy access from Karato Sanbashi pier by the direct boats running every day.
