Aio original Hachiman Shrine Main hall, Hall of Worship, Romon Gate and Agency Shop
According to the shrine records, it was build in 814 on the site of Furumiya in Futajima island and moved to the location now by Ouchi Yoshioki in 1501.
The shrine building now existing was constructed by the head of Choshu domain, Mori Munehiro in 1740.
This place is famous enough for its beautiful decorations, unique original style of Yamaguch,i and large thatched rooftop to represent the architecture in the Edo period.
