
This tour is designed for travelers visiting Yamaguchi for the first time. It is a 2 nights 3 days tour and the destinations are focuses on the west side of Yamaguchi.
1st day: The tour starts at the tourist city – Shimonoseki city. Fist stop is at Akama-shrine and Jokamachi (Castle town) Chofu. It then leads to Nagato, where you can enjoy cruising around Omijima island (Also known as the apls of the ocean) on the Japan Sea. The day ends as you head to Hagi city and stay at onsen(hot springs) hotels.
2nd day: Hagi city is known as a birthplace of contemporary Japan, the tour continues as you visit Hagi museum and the old town of Jokamachi (castle town). You then make your way to Tsuwano at neighbor prefecture Shimane, and enjoy carp or Japanese iris (best seen in June) at Tonomachi canal. You can then spend the 2nd night back in Yamaguchi city, and Yuda onsen is highly recommended.
3rd day: The tour visits the symbol of Yamaguchi – Rurikouji 5-tiered pagoda and the famous large limestone cave – Akiyoshido (Mine city).

The design of this river is chosen from Kamogawa in Tokyo, hence the town was also built in the same way as Kyoto.

The famous garden dedicated to painter Sessyu, it was built by Ouchi during the Muromachi period.

A renowned limestone cave in Akiyoshidai. The size of the cave entrance is 24m high and 8m wide. The most spacious part inside the cave is 200m in width and 40m in height. The highest part can go up to 80m.
