Outline of the experience

The bath is well known for its therapeutic qualities, inns are located along side the river. The town is neat yet filled with nostalgic atmosphere.
Most of the small inns are designed for small numbers; therefore no personal bathtub is set inside. You can always notice visitors walking towards the public baths (Shirozarunoyu, machinoyu) in their kimono and geta (clogs) both morning and evening.
