A 3.93 ㎢ basalt plateau island off-shore from Shimonoseki city Hohoku-cho.
It is the northern edge of crinum distribution, and a lighthouse is located on the western edge of the island.
Beautiful view of cobalt blue ocean can be seen from the Tsunoshima bridge connecting the main island and Tsunoshima.
