The Ouchinuri lacquer ware of Yamaguchi which is designated traditional Japanese handicraft has flourished 600 years ago and is one of the last remaining traces of the Ouchi culture. Its elegant picturesque design, the solidness and the colors which never fade are characteristic of the Ouchinuri lacquer ware.
There are bowls, trays and other goods but also Ouchi dolls which are popular as souvenirs.
