The great ”Hagi Daimyo Procession”Hagi Jidai Parade is an oblation parade which has made sacrificial offerings to the Shinto shrine since the Edo period at the Kanayatenmangu Festival in Hagi Tsubaki. Nothing sure is conveyed about its origin but in the ”Yae Hagi paintings of famous places”which were collected during the end of the Edo period the parade is already introduced on a detailed art print.
