This residence is a luxurious building just like a palace in Edo using the latest architecture techniques in those days in Meiji/Taisho era.
It is open now to the public as a museum exhibiting treasures of to Mori clan.
They introduce the culture and history of the Mori clan by rotating the exhibition of various treasures including 4 nationally designated ones.
In addition, the national treasure temporary exhibitions are held annually in here every November. National treasures and important cultural properties such as paintings by Sesshu gather in here.
