The trees are bred at the southern front entrance of the Mukoshima elementary school. 90 years ago a graduate of the school planted the trees in celebration. Since then they have seen the shape of many graduates full of aspiration going out into the world. Their calm shape is loved by many people.
The flower buds are red-purple, after blooming they become lighter and after that, they become a little darker. Their characteristic is that they bloom earlier than other cherry blossoms.
