It has been 200 years since Kanro soy sauce has been invented in Yanai. One part of the traditional soy sauce storage is open to the public as an archive. Next to various tools for the soy sauce production, trade documents of the past are exhibited and make it possible to experience one part of the food culture. Depending on the season it is possible to see preparation of the ingredients and actual soy sauce production. In addition, Furikake, a Japanese seasoning with soy sauce and sweet soy sauce is sold.
