In the Yuya district of Nagato City, terraced rice fields spread around the Mukatsuku Peninsula, which is the northwesternmost tip of Honshu. The sunset over the Sea of Japan, the sparkle of fishing lights off the coast, the rice fields reflecting the sky, and the beautiful autumn scenery have attracted many photographers, but the number of abondoned farmland has also increased. Therefore, in 2019, reclaiming abandoned farmland was started to create a lively area where people live with nature by utilizing the terraced rice fields. Various projects are being developed through the "Terraced Flower Field", and new landscapes are about to born.
